Fullofbologna.com Brouhaha provided Fan Fun, & Spectacular Racing

It was another beautiful night for racing as the gates opened for the  FullofBologna.com Brouhaha.  The kids from the kids club had a blast searching through sawdust for change and one special lucky gold dollar coin, worth a $50.00 saving bond.  The Girls Garage tried out their new 3 person sling shot... Trying to sling t-shirt up to the fans! It seemed they needed a little practice with it!  The Dirt Devils asked if they could be run earlier in the show so all fans would see just how exciting their division can be.  I think they took it to the extreme though.  There seemed to be some kind of yellow fever going on in the Dirt Devils as 3 yellow cars all Rolled and Flipped their cars in their feature race.  They were all Ok after these wild crashes, there was a lot of talk
after the racing that they were going to change the color of their cars to something besides Yellow!  The heat races went really smooth, and the show was actually ahead of schedule.  Then the consolation races started as the full moon showed above the grandstand. It seemed to have an effect on cons. races as they were plagued by yellow flags.
As the feature events started it cooled off a little bit, as I found myself putting on a sweatshirt.

The Budweiser Fastrak Late Models took to the track for the Feature with a field of 21 cars.  It was Scott Lewis #6
who would take home the trophy and his first ever Late Model feature win.  He was fallow by points leader Tom Naeyaet #9 for second place. Jim Zdroik battled hard but had to settle for third.

The Coors Light Modifieds started with a full field of 20 cars.  Many were surprised when the race went green to checkers. As the checkers flew, it was Jay Schraufnagel in the #10 taking the win, with Scott Mullen #1 charging hard for second. Kelly Brown in the #44 cleaned up third for one of his better finishes of the season.

The Total Power Sales Street Stocks feature went into the books with just a couple of cautions.  With a tight race for the points, with the top 5 in the points.  This was a important race leading into the mid season points Championship next week.  Jerry Winkler pounded his way to the front, and then checked out for mechanical problems.  This left the door open for Gary Neau in the 07 to bring home the win.  Brian Drexler #8 snaked his way up from a long ways back to grab second, with the #5 of Mike Nehmer hot on his heels.

The Miller Lite Grand Nationals provided the best finish of the night.  Brian Henry #7 lead the most laps in the race. Then on the last lap Points leader Jeff Richards #10 blasted up along side Brian coming out of turn 4, and the Drag race to the flag was on!  Like a pair of adjoined twins they crossed the finish line, with Jeff edging out Brian by inches. Dave Teske #51 came away with third.

Like I said before, the Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils got the chance to run their feature earlier, as a lot of fans leave as they come out for their feature. As the fans seen, these 4 cyclinder car do put on a spactacular show. Once most or all the yellow cars were done flipping and rolling. The win was grabbed by Chad Guyette in the #33.  Tj Smith in the 69 grabbed second, followed by Tyler Lind in the 97 for third!
