Mother Nature Makes Coors Light Showdown a Little Rough !

Clouds hung around all day which caused two problems... for the Coors Light Showdown!
First fans seemed to make other plans, as the crowd was light. Second we needed sun to
help dry out the track. When the sun did come out around 6:00 it was just a little late. But the fans that came out seen some good racing. With summer being so busy for everyone, we had to play musical positions with many of our workers as we were a little short on manpower. Jeff was announcing, Dennis was trying to work in turn 3 & 4, Larry was on the Back Stretch. We had a past Speedzone Soda Hawker trying to take photos in Victory Lane, many of you may remember
getting your soda from Walt a few years ago, Walt just turned 80 and still enjoys coming out to the zone.  Over all things did go to bad when it was all said and done.  We had good news from announcer Todd Behling... He is coming back this week.  He hopes he will be able to get through the entire night, but Dave Buss will be on hand if Todd needs him to help out.  We would like to thank Dave for helping us out while Todd was getting back on his feet.  Jennel and the girls from the Girls Garage were back from their east coast vacation... and the Kids Club was open and running again ;-)
