(OSHKOSH, WI) October 1, 2012 - The Speedzone was put on center stage as Director, publisher Justin Poublon captured some of the awesome action at the 1/3 mile dirt track.

Justin came to the Speedzone and did the filming on two separate nights, one with the Badger Modified Tour with the WDLMA Late Models and the following Friday.

Justin said that he thought it would be an outstanding video project to do. Justin is a freelance photographer from the area who has done several other projects. You can see these videos at RogueChaseWI on Facebook and YouTube.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – What started out to be a near fall like sun baked afternoon turned into a dreary early evening as Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway’s 3rd Annual Fall Classic fell to unexpected thunderstorms which rolled into the area just after the Modifieds had hit the racing surface for their feature contest.

In spite of the fact that most of the consolation races which set the final starting spots for the main event went green to checkered it soon became obvious that the track was in a race with Mother Nature as storms began rolling in from the west.

SEPTEMBER 7, 2012; OSHKOSH, WI – A vast majority of the persistent showers scattered throughout the eastern half of Wisconsin managed to miss Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. Track officials managed to work in the three-quarters of an inch of rain did fall in the mid-afternoon hours and the end result was a fast, smooth and racy clay oval. Fans which endured a one-hour delay to get the track in prime condition would witness 19 heat races which ran with minimal interruption. The entire program was completed by 9:30pm and the band Southbound which was brought in for entertainment was able to start their live concert early.
