Saturday, April 23, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - In spite of unseasonably cool temperatures, the 2011 Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway car show proved to be successful in spite of a sudden change in venue. Originally scheduled for the previous weekend, extremely poor weather conditions delayed the show one week and forced it's relocation.

The Oshkosh Speedzone has canceled the practice scheduled for the 23rd of April. With the recent snowfall we are unable to get on the track to do any work said Mike Rabe, track preparer.

We will be having the car show instead at the Old Fairgrounds, Fair Acres, home of Pick-N-Save. It will be in the Pick-N-Save parking lot in Oshkosh on the corner of Jackson and Murdock Street. Cars can arrive from 10:00 AM until noon with the show noon until 3:00 PM.

Trophies will be given out for best of show in each of the 5 divisions at the Speedzone.

Due to wet and cold weather the Speedzone Car show will be cancelled.

We plan on having the car show next week at the track. Weather permitting the plan is to display, tech cars and practice. Trophies will be given out for best of show in each division.

All racecars MUST enter the grounds off highway 76 not spectator entrance. If you try to come through the spectator parking lot you will be denied access due to county requirements of us.

The Speedzone carshow is this Saturday April 16 at the Outlet Shoppes in Oshkosh. The Mall is located next next to LaSure's Banquet Hall where the banquet is held each year.

Either from the north or south exit on highway 44. Head west towards Ripon. First intersection by Kwik Trip turn left and head south on frontage road and follow to Mall.

Set up is from 9 to noon and show is from noon to 4:00 PM.

In case of bad weather watch the website for up to the minute information.

Drivers, just a reminder, Driver Info sheets need to be turned in on or before April 30 to receive the extra 5 points. Any driver info sheets received after April 30 will not get the extra 5 points.

Poster Day scheduled for April 9th will be backed up until April 16 at the car show.

Car show will be held April 16 at the The Shoppes Outlet mall at Oshkosh, set up will be from 9-12 and show will be 12 - 4.

Front row $100.00 any other stall reserved $50.00 or first come first serve.

The Speedzone has scheduled the yearly car show for April 16, 2011. The car show will take place at The Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh Mall. Set up will take place 9 AM to 12 noon and the show will run from noon to 4:00 PM. The car show is open to any type of race cars. Trophies will be given out for best of Show in the Modified, Grand National, Sport Mod, Street Stock and Dirt Devil Divisions.

The Oshkosh Speedzone will be at Oshkosh Lanes March 26 from 3 to 5 for anyone that might be interested in working at the Zone for 2011.

We will be taking applications for various positions from concession to track. If you are interested please stop by and fill out an application.
