June 6, 2012; Oshkosh, WI - One of Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway's new supporting sponsors for 2012, Capital Credit Union will be the presenting sponsor for this Friday evening's racing program.

Capital Credit Union was founded in 1934. Seventy-seven years later, they have reached several milestones, “making it happen” for their members and others in the communities they serve.

Why choose Capital? When you become a Capital member you own “shares” in the credit union – making you a shareholder. Instead of just a few stockholders getting the profits, every Capital member benefits with lower loan rates, better savings rates, and a variety of free and low-cost products and services, like free checking, free online and mobile banking, and much more. Plus, Capital gives back to the communities we serve through volunteering and financial donations. Just by being a Capital member, you’re helping your neighbors, your friends and others right where you live and work.

Anyone living or working in Outagamie, Calumet, Winnebago or Brown Counties in Wisconsin is eligible to join Capital Credit Union. Immediate family members of current Capital members are also eligible to join. Simply click on the membership pre-application link below, then stop by any Capital office and make a small deposit in a savings (share) account ($5.00 minimum). That's all it takes to be eligible for all the great products and services available to members of Capital Credit Union!

Also part of the racing program for the night is the Driver's Sponsor Appreciation program. Drivers who filed paperwork with the raceway are eligible to have their sponsors sent tickets free of charge for the event. It's Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway's way of saying thank you to businesses for supporting our race teams.

Capital Credit Union Night will present all five weekly divisions. Including Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Leon's Frozen Custard IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Total Power Sales Street Stocks and Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway continues to present one of the Midwest's finest Modified programs. Known as "Wisconsin's Modified Action Track" the competition has been stellar as each week 40 or more Automotive Supply Company Modifieds have taken to the racing surface. Feature events start up to 24 cars and the shows have thrilled fans each time the green flag drops on a feature race.

There has also been tremendous growth in the Leon's Frozen Custard IMCA Northern Sport Modified class. Added to the program just one year ago, the Sport Modifieds have proven their worth and now have reached nearly 30 entrants weekly featuring the top drivers from area tracks. Between the two modified classes there have been several nights with over 70 total modifieds in the pit area.

All five classes are in action Friday evening with racing set for 7:00pm.

Adult admission tickets are just $10, students ages 11 through 15 are admitted for just $5 and children 10 and under are free to attend the races.
