Wednesday, August 10, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - After a one week break for the Winnebago County Fair, the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is back in action with five consecutive weeks of racing action. In fact we return to racing with a double-header weekend of racing.
Our Friday Night racing program returns as drivers continue to battle for the 2011 point championships on Graphic Point Night at the Races held this Friday evening, August 12th. Graphic point the sponsor for the evening produces the weekly point program for the raceway is a full service design and printing facility.
Located is Oshkosh Wisconsin Graphic Point provides customers with a wide variety of services, including graphic design and logo creation. Graphic Point can also provide fully functional interactive websites for any business as well as any type of tradition printing service. Graphic Point also does sign creation and vehicle wraps making them a one stop resource for any type of business branding.

During the show we will also be accepting donations for the Brenner Family Benefit. Dirt Devil competitor M.J. Brenner suffered a recent house fire in which she lost her home. Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway will be placing out two donation barrels. These barrels will allow those who are interested in assisting the Brenner family to donate non-perishable food items, durable goods and clothing. Her four daughters wear sizes 24m, 3 Toddler, 7-8 and 10-12.
The barrels will be located by the main entrance to the grandstands and near drivers registration in the pit area.
The program will feature all five divisions in action with over 100 cars expected to appear for the show. Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Leon's Frozen Custard Sport Modifieds, Total Power Sales Street Stocks and Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils will all be on hand for the event. Gates open at 5:00pm, with racing action beginning at 6:30pm for the Friday Night program.
dult admission is just $10, with students ages 11-15 admitted for just $5. Children 10 and under are FREE of charge with an adult.
Then on Saturday, August 13th, the Gladiator Racing Series will be making it's first appearance on the 1/3 mile clay oval. The enduro series will be hosting a pair of feature races during the evening.
Presenting sponsors for the show will be One-6 Motorsports of Elk Grove Village IL. and Chimney Mechanix of Shawano WI.
The ONE-6 Motorsports 100 Lap /Small Car/Endurance Race will be the first event 4 and 6 cyl cars taking to the track at 6pm. The 100 lap race will introduce an Optional Pit stop at lap 50, so cars can refuel, check for damage and refresh the driver if so chosen. The cars will then be restarted, side by side In a rolling restart , for the duel to the end of the race.
The Chimney Mechanix / 150 Lap / V8 Endurance Race will be the final event for the evening featuring our NASCAR style pit stops at 50 and 100 laps during the 150 lap contest.
Grandstand Admission is only $5 for adults and children under 10 get in free.
Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is a 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Sunnyview Expo Center which resides near the intersection of Highways 76 and County Trunk Y in Oshkosh.
