Oshkosh, WI, FEBRUARY 6, 2012: With just under 90 days until the first race event of the 2012 season at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway track officials and race teams are already preparing for the upcoming season. The track currently has 60 reserved pit stalls which have been selling out quickly. There are a limited number of reserved pit stalls still available for the upcoming season.

The reserved stalls are located in the first two rows in the pit area just off the backstretch pit road. These premium locations allow a driver to reserve their own spot in the pits and have the same location from week to week. This is especially handy in the event the team is running late heading to the track.

Additionally only a couple spots remain in the first row, which has easy access to pit lane. This has the additional benefit of allowing for fast repairs and a swift return to the track should an incident occur during a race program. Front row spots are expected to sell out this week.

Action will get underway on Friday Night May 4th as the 2012 season begins. IMCA sanctioning will make it's return to the track after a decade long absence with sanctioning of the Sport Modified division.

Well over 100 cars are expected to compete in the five division show which features Automotive Supply Company Modifieds, Leon's Frozen Custard IMCA Sport Modifieds, Miller Lite Grand Nationals, Total Power Sales Street Stocks and Lynn's Service Center Dirt Devils. The weekly program will see the first green flag drop at 6:30pm. The grandstands will open at 5:00pm for early arriving race fans and the pit area opens at 4:00pm

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway continues to hold the line on affordable family entertainment with adult tickets just $10.00. Students ages 11 to 15 are admitted for $5.00 and Children 10 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is a 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Sunnyview Expo Center which resides near the intersection of Highways 76 and County Trunk Y in Oshkosh.
