Saturday, September 3, 2011 - Oshkosh, WI. - The championship chase is over and the newly crowned champions will be set to do battle in the final stock car event of the 2011 season at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. The race is the highly anticipated Speedzone Fall Classic. The two-day event which will feature well over 150 different drivers competing for the largest cash prizes of the 2011 season.
Drivers will be competing for the highest payout of the year at the raceway. Modifieds are paid $2,000 to win and $150 to start the feature. Grand Nationals and Street Stocks are paid $1,000 to win and $100 to start the main event and Sport Modifieds and 4 Cylinders are paid $700 to win and $70 to start the feature contest. Drivers can prepare for the two-day special with open practice session held on Tuesday evening September 6th. The practice is open to any race car meeting minimum safety requirements and the day will mark the final opportunity to practice at the raceway for the 2011 season. Pit passes for practice are just $10 and the grandstands are open FREE to anyone who wishes to watch the activities.
The Fall Classic will begin on Friday Night, September 9th at 6:00pm with preliminary events. The show will roar back into action on Saturday Afternoon, September 10th at 3:00pm with Last Chance races and the big feature contests. If a rain date is needed Sunday September 11th will be used.
Fall Classic activities get underway at Noon on Friday when the pit gates open and the camping areas are assigned to early arrivals. Preliminary events will take place giving drivers an opportunity to place themselves into the main events on Saturday. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults each day but a weekend pass can be purchased for $25 for adults. Student tickets are $10 each day. Children under 10 are always free with a paid adult admission. Weekend pit passes are $50.
On Saturday pits will again open at Noon with racing set to take place at 3:00pm. Last chance events, semi-features and the main feature contest will take place. In addition to the feature races there will be a coin drop for the kids courtesy of Jon Schultz Street Stock driver of the 11x machine.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is a 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Sunnyview Expo Center which resides near the intersection of Highways 76 and County Trunk Y in Oshkosh.
